Section V · Correspondence We answer on Thursdays

Begin with a letter.

Sellers · Investors · Correspondents · Press

We are slow correspondents by design. The form below is read by a partner, in person, on Thursdays. If your message concerns the sale of a business, expect a reply within ten working days. For everything else, please be patient.

§ I Write to the Partnership

Tell us a little
about yourself.

We do not require a formal teaser, a CIM, or even an executive summary. A few sentences in your own words is more useful than a deck. We will reply with a short letter and, where appropriate, a request to talk.

Thank you.

Your letter has been received. A partner will read it on the next Thursday and reply by post or email, as you have indicated. Please allow two weeks.

By submitting you agree we may keep your letter on file.

§ II Offices

Five offices,

A final note

We are always reading.

Even if your letter does not lead anywhere immediately, it joins our archive of correspondents. We have answered letters that sat there for as long as eleven years before becoming useful.
